The installation combines an outdoor seating & relaxation area with an open-air exhibition.
Designed with the city’s inhabitants in mind, the exhibition’s multi-functionality and open form were important. Thanks to the smart integration of information boards with the seating system, visitors have the opportunity to learn about the history of the recently refurbished mills and plans related to their modernization. The outdoor exhibition stimulates interaction in many different ways.
Adapted to the surroundings
The installation harmonizes with the buildings in form and color but at the same time it introduces a new, fresh element to the space. Adapted to the surroundings, Intersections invite people to play, rest and explore. In this way, the work is useful to everyone – old and young. Modularity of the outdoor exhibition allows for the freedom to reconfigure the installation in the future, so that it can be used in another area of the Mills after the complete opening of the complex.
Intersections for public spaces are produced on request in communication with the client, they are made out of powder-coated steel or stainless steel in the RAL color palette.
