Made of light and shadow
The installation “Sun-sensing butterflies” uses the play of light and shadow. This outdoor wall art reveals the artist’s fascination with passing time. Colorful butterflies cast the shadows of their wings onto the concrete wall, located on a flower meadow in the gardens of Forum Gdansk in Poland. The size and shape of the shadows vary, depending on the hours and season.
