Social Activations

The project was developed for ICF Next as part of a series of social activations for the European Commission, featured across 27 EU countries. It utilizes seesaw installations to spark conversations around the European Pillar of Social Rights, addressing critical societal issues like work-life balance, minimum income, unemployment, and equality. These playful encounters around the seesaws encourage citizens to share their views and raise awareness about these important topics.

Symbolizing balance, the seesaws invite participants to share both personal and professional experiences in structured and spontaneous settings. Citizen dialogues are facilitated at various events and festivals across Europe, where impromptu conversations provide raw, unfiltered perspectives, adding spontaneity and inclusivity.

The installation includes not only seesaws but also an interactive wall where participants can mark their opinions. Positioned in high-traffic areas—festivals, parks, train stations, and business districts—the activation aims to engage passersby in meaningful exchanges.

By encouraging dialogue through interactive installations, the project strives to create a more inclusive and informed society, aligned with the values of the European Pillar of Social Rights.
